Denver's Best Running, Jogging,
Walking Routes
Inner Parks Loop
A route with good variety, linking together the Cherry Creek Greenway, a
classy and attractive residential area, Cheesman Park, and Denver’s largest
urban park, City Park.  The route is flat and uses a mix of pedestrian/cyclist
trails, pedestrian trails, and quality suburban streets.  Loop back to the start
or end in Restaurant Row, one of Denver’s most popular eating, drinking,
and entertainment areas.

South Platte River to Englewood
Traverse a range of different parkland environments, including the urban
parks near downtown, the scenic confluence of the river with Cherry Creek,
and various other parks and wildlife habitats distributed the length of the
South Platte greenway.  End in Englewood City Center, a well-planned
regional center with shops, entertainment, and at least one excellent eating
and drinking establishment.  There is convenient light rail transit back
downtown.

Downtown to University of Denver
Experience the Cherry Creek Greenway and Washington Park, one of
Denver’s most pleasant parks for on-foot exercisers.  The route is mainly on
dedicated pedestrian/bicycle paths.  End at the University of Denver
Campus, with a choice of campus-grade restaurants and pubs as wind-
down spots.  Catch the light rail back downtown.
