After years of procrasinating, my blog is at last live. There are so many things I have to pass on to, learn from, and discuss with the runners and walkers I meet daily, both physically and online.
For those of you who don’t know me, here is a brief self-introduction. I was brought up in Australia, moved to Canada in the 70s and moved to the USA in the 90s. I mostly retired from my original technology career a few years ago to focus on what is more important to me – enjoying the outdoors and helping others do the same. I am a keen runner and skier. In collaboration with my charming, long-term life partner, Nola, I started the Fun on Foot series of running and walking guide books. We recently released “Fun on Foot in New York,” our most prestigous title to date, helping New Yorkers and visitors to the NYC region get out more on foot.
Nola and I are currently living in NYC, doing lots of running and enjoying it. Come winter, we’ll be heading west to our winter home in Aspen, Colorado.
